That’s generally the operational point of the system so the Rankine cycle isn’t even very efficient. They’re looking to go to high temperatures and pressures in the future. This al contributes to the production of double glazing UPVC Doors and UPVC Windows.  I put this one on here, it hasn’t been built yet, but it is under construction now and this is the bright source plan for their plants at Ivanpah – about 40 miles from Las Vegas.

They two are water steam systems, but they operate in much higher temperature. That’s not a minus 50, by the way. That’s just a dash.They actually do super heat the steam in their receiver and they actually have a very sophisticated heliostat tracking approach to create parts of the receiver that are super heaters, parts that are evaporators, pre- heaters and so forth.
